is an Employee Assistance Professional with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology, Masters in Social Work (MSW), and is currently the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Administrator for the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago. In addition to brief client intervention and Employee Assistance Programme Administration, Ms. Marcano has created and facilitated psycho-educational group sessions and lectured at the University of the West Indies, Open Campus, for twelve (12) and five (5) years respectively.
The conviction that Self is the experience of mind-body-emotion, led Ms. Marcano to pursue Yoga Teacher Training at the Sangha Trinidad, in 2013, and she remains passionate about teaching movement as a technique for guiding participants to use intentional movement, combined with breath, as a path to well-being.
Ms. Marcano is a past board member of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association, Trinidad and Tobago (EAPATT) Branch, a dog mom, enjoys trail running, road running, dancing, cycling, and being in, on, or close to any open body of water.
